Hello!

Our names are Mike and Catherine O'Connor and we live in Queensland, the"Sunshine State", where our warm weather gives rise to an abundance of swimming pools.

We noticed that swimmin pool owners strive to create a private oasis by choosing elegant furniture combined with beautiful tiles, pavers and landscaping. They are often baffled though when confronted with the task of hiding the industrial look of their swimming pool filtration equipment.

Many simply give up and leave their swimming pool equipment exposed. The more determined buy or construct a swimming pool filter box from wood, bricks or metal. Most of these hinge the entire roof of the box to create a lid for access, this is often heavy and dangerous. Some position doors at the front or sides with a fixed roof, this forces the operator to squat or kneel to gain access.

We found that most swimming pool owners were not happy with the look of swimming pump and filter covers and were reluctant to install one.

We realised that the top priorities in a swimming pump and filter cover were safety, easy access and aesthetics. We decided a fabric panel was the safest option for a "lid" as it is light and easy to handle. To achieve a suitable stylish appearance we tested various materials to clad the frame and it soon became obvious that fabric panels again were the most appropriate. They are now a prominent and unique feature of our design.

Over a number of years we created a garage full of prototypes, each an improvement on the last, until we fashioned the present model that features a cavernous but safe entry with an elegant, distinctive style.
